Stopping here for a quick meal was a fantastic decision. The diner was spotless and had a nostalgic ambiance. The staff was attentive and served our food fresh and hot. If I lived nearby, this would become a frequent stop for me. The owner was incredibly kind and engaging, making the visit even more memorable. I hope to return before heading back to Houston. Arriving around 6 pm on a Wednesday, the restaurant was lively but not overcrowded. I ordered a Chicken Philly with lettuce, tomato, and jalapeños, paired with fries, while my wife opted for a footlong hot dog with chili and onions. The food arrived in about 20 minutes, piping hot and delicious. The Chicken Philly was packed with flavor, and my wife loved her properly prepared “red hot dog” with authentic chili.
